BIG PINK has been owned by Don and Susan LaSala since 1998. Considering ourselves to be stewards of this special place, preserving the house and keeping the land pristine as it was when its peacefulness was inspirational to certain road weary musicians. Don LaSala, a lyrical lead, rock-folk guitarist, songwriter and FOH sound engineer with some years on the road with national acts, continues the tradition of Basement recordings and music creation. Susan LaSala, daughter of the apple country of the Northern Adirondack Mountains, is a true Girl from the North Country. Both of us have a deep love of the land, of the wild creatures, flora and fauna that inhabit this place on the edge of the Catskills. We are committed to preserving the beauty and magic the land holds.
